Volt Consumers Main Concerns
As the new electric car just released, Volt has already received a lot of good review and made impressive achievement. It has been awarded as Green Car of the Year, for using the electric technology in a way to reduce gas emission. When consumers are given the opportunity to test this vehicle during 12 cities tour, most of them gave positive review and feedback. A lot of them stated that this car gives a solid, strong, and comfortable feeling in driving experience while at the same time reducing the gas emission, making the consumers feel proud to be able to do something worthy for the environment. Another good point of this car is that you don’t need to worry about running out of electricity, because when it does, additional generator machine will replace the run out battery to ensure you have a safe and comfy trip.
Another competitor using almost the same technology a Volt is the Nissan Leaf. The difference is that Leaf runs completely on batteries and has no back-up engine. Still the main concerns from the consumers are about the recharge station and the price. Volt is still way too expensive and they also worry about not being able to recharge the car without sufficient number of station available.

The New Beetle from VW
I’m always excited when talking about VW Beetle. Aside from the look that is always unique and noticeable and also adorable, it’s also quite a tough ride. Whenever I see a small and compact car on the street, with the hump frog-like design and the cute color available, I can always tell that it’s a beetle, even from a far. Beetle doesn’t only offer cute design, but you can have a sporty one too, if you like. Of course still with that unique beetle design. It won’t be a beetle if it doesn’t have that particular unique design.
Apparently I’m not the only one who adores beetle very much. Oprah Winfrey is also a big fan of this cute car. She gave away a new beetle to her 275 audience, each of them getting a new beetle. Oh how much I wish I had been there!
VW company has used the show to give preview of its upcoming car, teasing its beetle fans. The car is said to have hybrid, gasoline, diesel, and also convertible models with a style of a front-wheel. It will also be equipped with sport seats, dual exhaust system, bright lighting, and wheels of 19 inch in measure.

Mercedes-Benz Younger Look
When talking about Mercedes-Benz, its’ main strength is in the design. Mercedes always has this look for classy, timeless, and elegant style, which are suitable for young and old target consumers. But under the lead of Gordon Wagener, the design has slight changed, offering a better look especially for younger drivers.
The change actually began in 2007 with the new generation of C class, and went on with the E class and E class coupe in 2009, continued to the SLS sports car with two doors launched in May 2009. Since the release of the new design, the sales have gone up, increasing from time to time. The consumers range also changes. More buyers come from the younger age market.

The design has also cause a bit of change in design creation, where executives are shown the vehicle before the final decision about the design is made. Clubman Fifth Door
The Mini Clubman is said to release with an additional door at the back. The Australian market is said to have a Mini Clubman with its fifth door, which are considered safe and won’t cause any problems. The new door is called as Clubdoor, is built to provide easier access for passengers who wish to climb into and out of the car from the rear side, so that they won’t need to use the side doors. The company decided to keep the hardtop look with additional feature that gives different look and performance.
Although many people doubt about the safety use of this additional door, Mini’s spoke person claimed that the door is perfectly safe and won’t create any safety problem. They claimed that the minis are usually driven by the owners. When they have children, they won’t take the children with them. Even if they do, they can have lock and other safety prevention to avoid any misdoing or unfortunate events. They even claim that this fifth door will be helpful for helping passengers in providing them easy access for putting in groceries or additional seat. The drivers won’t have to go any more trouble to load their cargo through the side doors.
